
Contra - Demo

This is the third edition of my unnamed hack of Contra, modified with Red Falcon editor, still in beta but usable enough to redesign the three main types of levels, namely horizontal, vertical and indoors. As usual, the difficulty level is up a few notches, but I tried to make it not awfully hard either...

The level length have been extended from 7 to 16 screens. Enemies are more limited in the Waterfall level. Most common enemies are back again, so they have the same AI alterations as in level 1. The gray turrets are now much more agressive, especially if you have a strong weapon. The Boss was also ASM hacked to make it shoot different types of projectiles, at random. The Boss, Mouth and Arms, also have twice as much HP...
